A Victorian village and harbor at the top end of Buzzards Bay, at the mouth of the Cape Cod Canal. It is a part of the Town of Wareham although it is its own water and fire district. It’s like the Cape without having to cross the canal.
We started coming here in 1994 and moved down in 2011.
It’s like the Cape and Islands without having to cross the canal or take a ferry.
It has a well-protected harbor although the entrance off the Hog Island Channel can be a bit dicey.
