The Casablanca Cafe, Ft. Lauderdale
A new tradition on our annual pilgrimmage to Florida is a first night's dinner at the Casablanca Cafe, by the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. There's a balcony with four tables where you can enjoy the view and the breeze, not possible back in Boston most Marchs.

This is the stairwell down to the first floor. As their profile says, "Located in a '20s era home designed by noted architect Francis Abreu, this establishment with American piano bar downstairs has a fabulous ocean view. The menu features chicken, lamb, chef specialties and large salads. Live entertainment nightly."
