Maine, August, 2013
A two week plus cruise on Hickory Wind along with the Merrys on Calypso. Some new harbors and landfalls; the furthest being Mud Hole on Great Waas Island. Rainbows were a common feature this year and fog again was not. We won't go into the wind. (Put another way, that's what we did.)

A two week cruise to Maine in Jabberwocky, our Freedom 28, along with Paul & Sally Merry in their Luders 33, Aurora. We headed out to Provincetown on the way up, then over to Matinicus. Burnt Coat, Frenchboro, Northeast Harbor, McGlathery, Long Cove, Damariscove Island.

Taken the last(?) good saliing weekend here in New England.We were with Paul and Sally Merry on their Luders 33, Aurora. Temperature was 48 in the cabin when I arose before dawn.

Not a lot of other boats there that time of year! That is a mooring float, not a channel marker.

taken September 13, 1998, from Aurora, Paul Merry's Luders 33, when we joined him on his return from Down East.

We sailed from Biddeford Pool, Maine to Manchester, Mass. via the Isles of Shoals (including a lobster dinner) and the Annisquam River behind Gloucester.
